With our year-end connect event, we wanted to end with a bang so we asked Chef Poyan Danesh to create something spectacular for us and he did not disappoint! Chef Poyan is one of Canada’s top, award-winning chefs, having competed on Team Canada and gaining numerous accolades for his savory and perfectly crafted dishes. It was no wonder this meal was probably one of the best I’ve ever had!
Chef Danesh started us off with marinated OceanWise organic mussels with a basil foam, then savored an amazing OceanWise Albacore Tuna Tataki, baby arugula and kale salad, pickled red onions with a citrus dressing. We then moved onto two of my favourites, Tandoori Chicken with a fenugreek and cardamom cream sauce and then truffled gnocchi, rose sauce with seared scallops with garlic butter lobster. I must have had about 5 servings…they were AMAZING!! We even got to flame-broil our very own crème brûlée!
